The Rothmans build took me 5 years mainly collecting the parts including the the racing ATAC engine.
it's nick named "Pond Life" as I pulled the remains of it from a drained pond at a house my mate moved into over a decade ago.

FT500's don;t get much love these days! Great looking bike you have there. Once was a time in the 80's when you could not give them away.

It was fun....slow and heavy.....but fun.33 hp isn't gonna rock the world. The 450 was insane.
