I went and did something stupid.

Found a guy selling a 98 bandit 600 for a little over what would be 1000 USD in decent shape.

I would usually ask to have them keep the bike cold when i show up to look at it, but this time it was warm ok *small nervous laugh*.... the rear brake fluid revivor is empty, ok.... what's a rear brake cyl rebuild?..... blown shifter shaft seal..... pft 20 min of work......blinkers don't work,... hell i have a voltmeter, no biggie...... and next day cyl 1-2 are not firing..... eh, i need to now rebuild the fuel system...... *nervous laugh* its ok, how many times have you rebuilt the hawks and buel carbs, what is another 4 in a row.... *more nervous laughing* wife is looking at me with smirk of, *found new excuse to not let you buy any more new toys*

but hell she sure as hell looks good standing still waiting for parts to arrive haha.

Nice bike! Doesn't sound like there is anything seriously wrong with it. I always think it is kind of fun to find and fix small problems.

Still a pretty cool bike!

1. At least you know it gets warm...
2. I mean, no one NEEDS a rear brake...
3. Chain oilers are an extra and expensive feature on Speedway bikes..
3. Blinkers just alert your competition to your game plan..
4. And we all love twins!
