    Is it all worth it?

This weekend we had a tragic loss in the LRRS/CCS community.

    Scott Bosworth #33 (Expert)

Although I did not know the man it makes me think about this thing we do called Racing.

We on the AmI Racing team would like to express our condolences and that our thoughts are with his family, friends and teammates in this difficult time.

In a show of support we will race with his number on our bikes for the season.

    Godspeed Bozzy.

I'm really sorry to hear that Doc. Did this happen at NHIS? NHIS is a dangerous track for motorcycle racing, which is why the AMA no longer races there. I don't know the circumstances but I do know that if they would just make an investment in some air fences the track would be a much safer place. My heart goes out to his family, friends, and the racing community.

The Air fences are in the right places and a number of folks got saved by those this weekend.

It ws going into 3 and a 5 bike pile up. From what I am told he was hit by 2 of the five.

Slowest corner of the track, freak thing. Really sucks.

yes, NHIS is a dangerous track, but it is also a very technical and challenging track, a true rider's track where extra horsepower makes little difference. i haven't been racing there long, but i love the track and love the people. LRRS is truly a family.

        Godspeed Scott.

It is quite possible that your "gesture of honor" could be seen as offensive to people who actually knew Scott. You may want to consider that before your tribute. It is important to be careful and considerate with things like this. -Crash
