    Road Racing schools

I figured I should start this thread.

I am planning on attending the Penguin roadracing school next spring.

Has anyone done a school? What should I expect? Got any tips or pointers?

Kinda tuff to answer. Take lots of paper note's help ton susp setting bike hick ups ect. Check ego at front gate. Run YOUR OWN PACE. I took a buddy to one trying to move into a higher group totaled his bike. It take's a couple track sesions to get it all dialed you and the bike once that happens sex in leather BABY!!!!!

You do know I've been a Guest Instructor with Penguin right mwahahah I'll have to make sure I make my way out there and BUZZ YOUR EARS OFF going into T1..

My advice is to ask questions (something you have no trouble with anyhow) and seek out the Instructors for 1 on 1 sessions. Especially in the Open Sessions later in the day. Everyone just goes 4 ways to the Winds and forgets there are 15 or so Instructors around just waiting to help.

            Ride your own pace.

Ok since I have done trackdays and I am going to take the racing school I will try to answer this.

Trackdays are basically just a day to get out on the track, You have some instruction but it is minimal.

Race schools are more "race" oriented. More instruction/ structure and I guess you are "pushing it" a little more. (I think)

Wanna help me out here Alex.

I'm looking to do some trackdays at VIR this season, maybe a corner speed school if I can afford it. I got my hawk from a friend of mine that likes to get on the track and is pretty good at sharing information on riding, he'll probably be there most of the season too. Anyone in the area post up if you can get to VIR, kick back and have a cold one.

Just helped my buddy get his SV prepped for his trip to Jennings in a few weeks. I followed him around so nobody could see the lack of plates lights and anything else you'd find on a legal bike!
