    I have an Idea...

Ok so I was thinking... (I know dangerous)

So how many Hawks race around the country?

What are there classes? What tracks are they at? What are their seasons?

Maybe be could do a National challenge Cup?

    # of race + point for where you place -/+ so way of evening the field for different tracks. (Fastest lap recorded at that track by a hawk - your average laptime....)

The biggest thing is just get some camraderie with ALL the Hawk racers around the country.

Does anyone know of outher forums these guys hang out at? Spread the word.

Sounds like a right pukka idea.

If it were cheap enough to race, I'd probably do it. Hell, Sebring is only 2 hours south of here, in a place almost as bad as the set of Deliverance.

      Racing is not cheap.

One of the first things I was told when I asked what I should bring with me was "Money".

There are 8 race weekeds and I hope to stay under $3000 for the year.
      Entry fees
      Food
      Tires
      Beer
      Gas

The track is about 2 and a half hours from me.

Anyone else have insight as I have not actually raced yet, Just trackdays at $250 a pop.
