Last Speedway race of the season was today. Couldn't get the bike running. Jason told me he had an ignition for me, it was the wrong one. Went home tried swapping the carbonator just in case.. no go.

I almost didn't go back to the track.. he asked me to go back and be the starter/flagger.

Good thing I went, because I was there to receive this!

I didn't think I was going to win anything this year. Never mind the track and easy coast championship!

(I have told Kristen when referring to me now, just call me Champ. It's only appropriate... )

Thanks guys.

It was a great season. It was disappointing missing the last race, but it was a great season. Learned lots, barely got injured and only broke the bike once. Can't ask for more than that.

And congrats to Dan (the trike racer who is also on here but I don't know his forum name).
I got to wave the checkers as he took the win in his main last night! Great race too. He set it up for about 3 laps then took the inside out of four, carried it into one, sealed the deal out of two with only a few left and road away from them.

And he did it in Cru Jones gear.. can't beat it.

Not here... Compared to these guys I barley crash at all. Maybe 3 or 4 this whole season. There are guys that go down once an event at least.

With 4 or 6 lap races the pace is far closer to the limit than you can run if you are doing a 20+ min road race where if you ran that close to the edge you would crash every race. So crashing once an event is not uncommon.

I'm consistent in comparison.
