I have ALOT of work to do.

    I need to

    1. Safety wire my bike
    2. Basic tune up and carb tweaks
    3. Suspension set up (hopefully at the trackday/practice if anyone is around or I can find Peter Kates)
    4. Get Race tires mounted on race rims and rains on spare rims.
    5. Finish installing my rearsets (how does that brake spring attach?)
    6. Dismantle the Project Hawk and GS and Take pics to post for selling.
    7. Finish routing wires and buttoning everything up
    8. Put on my numbers
    9. Bondo the dent in my tank.
    10. Put my HRC overflow bottle on
    11. Bleed my brakes
    12. Get a tach with temp light or some kinda Guage cluster (Vapor)
    13. Clean and Prep my Trailer

Can you think of anything else?

Don't bother with the bondo- it just adds weight

You will find racing adds dents to the tank. Not much you can do about it.

          Oh almost forgot.

Need to get a chain roller and some frame sliders.....

Anyone know anybody that makes those and has some for sale?

Try Rod at Hiperform for both bits.

Is that a hint DOC. Scott just saw some goodies in the basement the other day. I just need to get the bearing spacers. Scott is also going to let me borrow the sidestand to see if I can kill 2 birds with one stone.

If you have a lot to do that I am in trouble. I currently do not have a running engine. It is about torn down as it can be.

You can do 4 and 8 at the track.

Getting tires mounted at a dealer costs about twice as much (and they do a worse job) than just having Street and Comp do it at Loudon.

While your tires are being taken care of.. you can pick up your #'s and throw them on in about 2 seconds. Also from Street and Comp.
