I say red because it gives it a lil "je ne say pas". Not something you see everyday.

Plus when the seat starts to go pink you can always use the black then.

When I saw the red seat I thought "looks great"

then I saw the black seat and thought "looks badass"

I'd go black

I'm kinda leaning towards the black... but it definitely gives it a different look with the red.
My complaint with the red before, was that there was too much of it! But with the cowl, it breaks it up enough...
Tough decisions... lol!

By defualt it is the best color because it is a combination of all colors.

Go with the black. It looks alot better, or go with the red and add more accent red elsewhere on the bike.

i'd go w/ black. of course i'm biased. when my hawk was in street trim it was very understated

yep... think I'll keep the black one. Prob sell the red one if anyone is interested.

PaullyBoy, it's Granite Blue (damn near black)... originally came with the red seat.
