    Awesome bike

Went out with some local biker mates tonight to a weekly biker pub meet and saw this beauty:

Love the Predator paint job. Reminded me a bit of a big hawk with the frame and swing arm. Anyone know what it is?

    Modified Honda 900rr? 929?

    With a Ducati swingarm...?

DOC's correct CBR900RR. On the CBR929 the swingarm pivot was not part of the main twin spare frame. The swingarm pivot went through a sub-cradle and the engine cases.

Yeah, that's something that has been bothering me for years. Why do the europeans go in for that streetfighter look with the tipped up tail? To me it looks like half the bikes at the salvage yard that have been rearended.

And those custom trees give me the willies.

I also like that rear wheel, but that tail is fugly. Lots of time and effort went into that no matter what.

Nice job, and it looks like a custom swingarm too! I'm addicted to Streetfighters.... looks like something I've seen in that mag before (yeah, like a million times already, but I digress...) Another fightered Blade. But a nicely 'fightered Blade.

Kicked-up German-style fighter tails aren't everybody's cup of tea... nor are they mine... but you've gotta appreciate the effort. I Loooooove that swingarm!!!

It was a Thursday evening at the Stormy Petrel pub at Tern Hill in Shropshire.

Here's a bbc news article on the venue. Typical BBC though and have to turn it into an article on how dangerous bikes are.

Someone on another mc forum described it as a "cat in heat" tail. Y'know, when cats are in heat, they crouch down and lift up their tails and wait to be mounted.....
