Anyone have pics of hawks with sideways swingarm mounted license plate?

Thinking about doing it myself. Not sure how it will look.

I have a few pics Mike. I just sent the to you via your email. I considered that also, but laws here wont allow us to have side mounted plates if I wanted to.

Dagus makes a really nice kit. I'd highly recommend it

A lot that you see are curved. The one that I had is straight up and down, it's a good fit and I am unsure if I will do it again but it certainly cleans up the tail.

Not do disrespect anyone or their bikes, but I think they're ALWAYS ugly as hell. I'd never use one.

Also, Doug (Dagus) makes a side mouned license late holder. I have an illiminator from Doug myself and it is made of some of the best material and professionallly made.

I'm not the biggest fan of how it looks, either. In the normal position, my rear tire hit the plate a few times hard enough to fold it up under the tail, so I'm not willing to take that chance.

Is that a v-rod headlight? Looks badass.

That's all about the angle of the rear-mounted plate. 45 degrees is juuuuuust right. I tried a number of different bends until it didn't smack the tire anymore. If you've got the stock subframe, I can make you one that won't hit the tire.

@ Jas and MDHawk.... thanks for the endorsement!!!

I have an rear-mounted plate on my wife's bike, and a swingarm-mounted plate on the BlackHawk. The side mounted version bolts to the chainplate holes, just like BTT says. The big difference with mine is, while the plate itself is flat, it sits back at an angle, so you can actually read it (and personally, I think it just looks better that way, follows the lines of the bike). Never had a problem with NY or CT police, but YMMV.....
