    Good pic.

That looks great!! The tank to seat transition looks really good. Is that the stock subframe?

That is looking VERY good. What Tank? An F2?

I take it the fiberglass is your own creation as well?

the tank is an F2 tank...and the tail and other body work is al lfrom Tyga...its actually for the RVF400 but our bikes and the RVF are very close cousins.....

That's gotta be the biggest tail cowling I've ever seen. Did you do wind tunnel tests or something?

It is up there kinda High but I figured it would come down some.

I think to look good the tail shouldn't go past the tire.

                    Here is the subframe...its not rusty...just surface rust...its chro-moly

have to weigh it, but it is lighter than the Hiperform

Looking good! Are you going to paint it Repsol colors too?

Are you going to 'bob" the tail like the new 212v?

TJ, I really like your subframe design. I have made several subframes out of steel similar to yours. I feel that it is important to pick up the lower mounting points on the frame as you did. The first subframe that I made mounted like the hyperform unit (I believe that was in the days before Hyperform) because I liked the cool cantilevered look but those upper mounts are cast units and not very strong and the subframe gets alot of leverage against them in a crash. I ended up breaking them off in a crash. So anyway nice job and good engineering.

What is the plan for a seat? That tail section looks great but if you cover it with just a stick on pad I think your gonna find the seat is pretty low, even lower than stock. Anyway I am sure you worked it out and the thing looks great.

yeah..i have 2 pads , 1/2" and 3/4" so i can pick which one i want...its pretty decent as is right now...its all a crap shoot...this is my first custom build, so its a new adventure every step of the way......

thanks for the compliments on the subframe...i wish i could take all the credit , but my only input was the bungs that attach to the frame...i used the lathe at work to fab them up...my buddy who builds race cars did all the rest...i added on the brackets and stuff later.....but the thing is light and stiff...i dont want a pogo under me.....
