I hope he's not in the hospital. The Dragon has 300+ steep curves and some pretty shear cliffs on the side. Bikes can be repaired easier then Humans.

          I don't know....

I have some pictures in my crash book that would put up a tough argument to that.

I hope OP manages to get some pictures posted.
I'd love to see the bikes and the road he got to enjoy.

I've been there three times and every time the heli was out picking up a victim. It's a bad place to ride alone. We had a group ride once with a female on the end. She didn't make it thru but it was a minor spill. There are other great roads out there too.

Most folks I know who frequent the area do the dragon once then spend all the rest of the time away from the crazy and enjoy the same or better roads with a ton less traffic. I'd like to get there sometime to knock of the bucket list.

It's nuts out here. I can't run to the store down the street to the store without seeing a flock, heard, gaggle, murder, whatever it is you call a group of deer.

Why hunting season it so short baffles me. They are an absolute hazard on the road and nuance on the farms.

Of course if you do go to the dragon a visit to the "tree of shame" is a must. Haven't seen any hawk parts there though.

Have a picture in my crash book of Chris's freshly (like for the trip) painted 929 down over a bank out there.

Pics from the bike looking up and from the road looking down. Twas down the hill a gooood ways.
