TBH I really miss a good round about!
Once you know how to get your knee down they are really good fun and until somebody calls the cops you can 'lap' as many times as you like!!

                    Jase,
I've never been on one of those yet.
I'll have to get one of the locals here in NYC to find me one!!!

Actually there are roundabouts in the US, there are also rotaries, and traffic circles too.

There are even a few in NY state, one on the other side of the Hudson from Bear Mountain (at the end of a nice, if sometimes busy piece of road in fact). Take the Bear Mountain Bridge (eastbound), and at the end, turn right. Follow this road, and it will take you to it. In fact, there's a rotary on the west side of the bridge too, before the toll booth, now that I think of it. That tends to be pretty busy though. Oh and rotaries are massive, just like everything else, they do things bigger in the US. Check out https://www.nysdot.gov/portal/page/p...in/roundabouts for NY's take on the issue. The videos of the oversize load and the snow plow are funny.

Cloverleafs are fun too, and it was the Mamaroneck Ave. on ramp for the Hutchinson River Parkway that I got my knee down for the first time (not strictly a cloverleaf tho). However, they tend to have armco on the outsides

Let's see, near NYC, I-95 eastbound to I-87 southbound does a 360 counterclockwise before you leave the island. I-87 southbound to I-95 westbound does the same thing, but you can't connect the two easily.

The nearest full 'leaf I can think of is in the Bronx, exits 7e/w off Bronx River Parkway, Fordham Rd/Pelham Parkway. Not great as you have to merge with slow traffic on the road, and deal with BRP traffic. There is also a bit of a mess of bent roads at the west end of 79th st.

                            brewsy,

we'll make a lil trip up to bear mtn upon completion of your hawk. there are two "roundabouts" or traffic cirlcles on the way and more further out. but you have to get there early before all the minivans (full of flashers i am sure) show up.

there's space to drag a knee there for sure though.
