    Check out that scenery

Onboard Hawk video chasing a FJR1300. check out those roads

What was the start of all this?
When did the cogs of my Hawk begin to turn?
Perhaps it is impossible to grasp the answer now,
from deep within the flow of time...

But, for a certainty, back then,
I loved it so much, yet hated so many.
I hurt others and was hurt myself...

Yet even then, I rode like the wind,
    whilst my laughter echoed
    under cerulean skies...

Is that a Hawk road or what? I love the mountains of Germany, Oostenrijk and Luxemburg
they look pretty much like the road shown here.

those roads are so twisty that you end up hoping for a bit of straight just to be able to relax a little :P

I wonder how many carry-ons you could get a Hawk into?? That's an awesome road!

On the Nordschleiffe I had 5 in a row but then I was about to get bumped of the track by a car so I had to get off the apex.

the tarmac there wasn`t really that great so I suppose it could go on forever

2 "sadle" bags, 1 top case and a tank bag. you won`t be able to go over 80km/ph but at least you can take a LOT of stuff with you.

I just take 1 backpack and a tank bag. it won`t hinder your riding and you`ll be able to take the most important stuff with you.

You ride the same way I do; minimalist all the way!!!
And I absolutely loved living in Germany as a teenager - the best years of my life were living in Munchen and beautiful Bavaria.

yep, I hate freight-carrier riding. keep the stuff you have to haul around to a minimum. Germany is indeed a very biker friendly country. you can rent rooms practically everywhere for outlet prices
and you get a breakfast the next morning that is so extensive you will puke your guts out if you try to eat it all.
