Not every day I run across a vintage video featuring a Hawk that I haven't seen!

Who knew. He probably would have been better off jumping it on the hawk than that Harley.

I believe that until someone jumps what he jumped on the SAME BiKES that he jumped he will always be the king.

Sorry, following a mans records he set jumping a sportster while on a CR500 just plain doesn't count. Not one bit.

I was thinking the same thing. He was my idol as a kid, I remember getting together with family to watch his jumps on tv. Look back now and realize he had horrible equipment to do those jumps.

The Caesar’s Palace jump was done on a Triumph. Its incredible to think that the Triumph was the bike of choice for stunts like that at the time.

Crazy. Not much better then a HArley. . THen again, it doesn't seem he gave much thought to the landing aspect of his jumps.

I watched a show recently where Richard Hammond meets Evel and spends a few days with him at a Festival in Evel's home town. Worth a watch. He was a dick.

When you've broken every bone in your body its probably hard to get them all in the same place again. Im sure all his positions are kinda weird.
