At one time, 1980 or ‘81, I helped the Press Box in Ensenada for the Baja 1000 (won by Bruce Ogilvey and Chuck Miller, guys I later met and worked with at Honda) ... thereafter, I assisted in Pit Boxes along the route of the 1000. I didn’t see the buggies or trucks in your video, so, I assume SCORE down-sized this event ... San Filipe I been to many times to camp on the beach and play with ATVs ... the town is too small to host a full contingent of Off-Road Classes ... I’m reminded of a little shack by the roadside into San Filipe offering fresh shucked clams by, who else? The Clam Man!
